Pro Subi Ltd is an independent not-for-profit organisation that acts as the marketing body for businesses in the Subiaco town centre. It was established by pro-active Subiaco business people and the City of Subiaco in 1998 to address increasing competition from rival shopping centres and strip shopping destinations. It markets Subiaco as a unique retail, service, leisure and business destination of choice.

Pro Subi is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of members who have nominated and been elected by the existing Board. Each year, the five longest serving Board members are required to resign and renominate at the Annual General Meeting, where the following year’s Board is elected. An Executive Officer and Member Coordinator comprise the operational staff of Pro Subi.

Pro Subi:

  • Develops and implements marketing and advertising campaigns to attract and engage consumers to Subiaco;
  • Organises events, including the annual Subi Street Festival, to promote Subiaco;
  • Implements public relations to generate positive publicity for Subiaco;
  • Sponsors organisations and initiatives whose goals align with Pro Subi’s; and
  • Manages the subi.net website to keep consumers engaged and updated.
